The Siren team were at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 15th-17th August exhibiting the Siren camera to an eager crowd of fishing retailers and members of the public.
The Australian Fishing Trade Association (AFTA) annual exhibition provided the first opportunity for Siren to be shown physically to a local audience and the response was extremely encouraging! Throughout the 3 day event, Co-Founder Phil West met with lots of familiar industry leaders and television personalities, "The 3-day AFTA event on the Gold Coast was another fantastic opportunity for Siren to showcase our unique concept and have it verified by experienced industry experts. I was delighted again by the reception, particularly as the Gold Coast is very local for our business and reflective of recreational fishing consumers Siren is developed for".
For the first time in its' history, the AFTA trade show included a Public Day throughout Saturday the 17th of August. This gave all of the exhibitors an opportunity to talk and share cutting edge products with end users. Phil said, "It was great to see such a large turnout from members of the public. There's so much enthusiasm and passion for recreational fishing within Australia and Saturdays public day gave both exhibitors and end-users for all of these new products a great chance to talk about new fishing concepts coming available next year. For Siren, the public day was tremendous in terms of the excitement shown towards our camera. There was nothing else like Siren at the exhibition, and I only wish we had them available for sale on the day such was the attention we got!"
